Does anyone know if dealers are offering discounts on MY03 C4S? My dealer is at MSRP and won't budge, says he has waiting list for orders.

Same thing at my local dealer. He has orders that take him into March of 2003 for the C4S. At least he's not being a greedy SOB trying to sell at a premium.

My dealer also has a backlog of orders and continues to add a premium to cars that are not purchased as part of the orders. He recently received a beautiful black turbo with natural gray leather interior, red stitching and carbon fiber accents (steering wheel, gear shift **** and door sills), that he has posted with a $5K premium. Granted, he usually adds $10K to a turbo and received a $50K premium on a GT2 sold last month. I am happy to have gotten the C4S I ordered in March and received late July at sticker!

There ARE discounts on '03 orders out there. Also, there is at least one Florida dealer with three '02s on the lot that could be negotiated for. The demand/supply equation is quite different now from even 2 months ago.

There's an AS C2 and a GR cab on the lot that's asking $4K off MSRP. And, that's asking, mind you. Open for wheeling and dealing.
