Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My wheels need some work and I intend getting the full monty done and thought that the wheels may stand out more in black or a very dark grey. What do you think? If anyone has photo's of a Zenith Blue 996 with black wheels then please show me before I commit

POST 2Original post

I have an Ocean Blue metallic with black wheels...would that be helpful?

POST 3Original post

Any ideas welcome just want some ideas before committing

POST 5Original post

I think I would tend to lean towards the black wheels. I would assume their the stock wheels ? What shade of grey are you thinking ? Post a picture if you could.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just bought some 18" gt3 split rims. I am going to run them until I need to refurbish them and when I do I may do them black and silver.

POST 7Original post

Definitely go with black. Here's a pic of mine

POST 8Original post

Wheels looks best when they contrast with the car color. With Zenith Blue, black doesn't have enough contrast. Black wheels look best on a artic silver or speed yellow car. With blue, the stock silver still looks better. The highest contrast with blue is yellow or red which is why the blue GT-3 has red wheels and graphics.
