Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The '99 C4 Aero that I just got came with a K&N Cold Air Intake. To no surprise, the car was throwing CEL, ABS and PSM lights from the first drive. Thankfully the PO included the stock air intake in the purchase, so last weekend I reinstalled the stock unit. When doing so, I found this plug in the engine bay on the right side. It comes out of the same bundle of wires that the MAF sensor plug comes out of. Any idea what it is and where it is supposed to go?

POST 2Original post

On my '99 C2, it plugs into a receptacle on the frame/body on the very right hand side of the air box.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks stone! That makes sense since the OEM airbox was removed (and now back where it belongs). That's also where it comes out of the wiring harness - right next to the right side of the airbox. Thanks for the pic, also.
