Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The new updated Porsche web site appears to have all relevant pricing and other materials for the MY 03 cars. On the UK side there has generally been a 1% increase in base cost and option pricing, although certain options have had 10% increases eg. Small Aluminium look Package #(PE82) ??? A point to watch out for is that although the new PCM 2 (PP16) has come down by about 100, in order to have the telephone operational, you have to add back on a further 522.88 for the "telephone module" M666 to have a phone built into the PCM, UNLIKE PCM1 which had this built into it from the get go. I'm not sure what if any differences there are for the new phone system compared with the one in PCM1, but you would hope there would be some given the additional cost. I guess 1% on last year's price is pretty good really .... Slightly unrelated point, but on the C2 which does not come with PSM, is there any form of traction control at all? I had understood that the PSM added a form of active yaw control to deal with situations such as lift off oversteer where a normal engine management or rear wheel ABS based system can do nothing for you. If you don't get PSM do you get no form of power on oversteer protection? I thought that would come as standard and then the PSM added the active yaw - thoughts appreciated!
