Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 996 C4 Cab has the factory aerokit. This aerokit has a fixed rear spoiler and thus deletes the actuating rear wing. Above and forward of this is where the rear central brake light would be. On mine this (was) covered by a blank with the word Porsche on it. The fixed spoiler has its own functioning light. Now I have noticed that this blank is strangely gone, lost to the ages. So I need a new one. Here is a picture of when it was installed. Center of the picture above the spoiler. Can anyone help with with a part number and source for this? Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/s/f7g34aazti...he911C4-35.jpg

Although this is a cover for the 4S / turbo brake light Tequipement aerokit, It's the only one that looks like your missing cover AFAIC. part # is 99650498101. Best,

And there's one in ebay uk. (no affiliation) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Ne...-/180794181986

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's amazing that you located that so quickly. The measurements are exactly right. The part description says it has twenty clips. Hard to fathom how it came out. Maybe it had " help" . Many thanks!

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks...yes that is the right part...In fact both those ebay listings are the same. And yes I was in the UK...but the car was not! In the end I ordered from Parts Atlanta.

You guys are awesome! I don't want to hi-jack the OP's thread but it looks like he is covered! Is there anyone familiar with the black piece that goes in the frunk around the hood latch? This is the rubberized piece that runs along the front of the frunk and curves back about 6 inches? Mine is weathered where the bumper meets the front hood. If you remove your bumper cover it has 2 stright slot fasteners that hold it in place??

POST 10Original post

For OP, if you leave PORSCHE on it. It will probably continue to get "loose" and fall off again.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I bought it, painted it and reinstalled it. All done. Thanks. I am going to post details of the paint I used in a paint thread in case it is useful to someone.
