Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I finally made the effort to hoover the car out today and found this plug lurking under the rear passenger side mat. Without taking the carpet out I am not sure if it runs from the rear or the front of the car but would assume either way it should be tucked away. Any info on what it could be ? The car is a 99 c4 cab.

POST 3Original post

The phone harness is behind the stereo. Is it possible that this runs to the phone harness? Was there a telephone in the car in the past or perhaps an aftermarket Bluetooth kit? I had a Motorola Bluetooth kit in my car before I upgraded my head unit and it was mounted under the seat.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Could be a phone cable, my car has aftermarket blue tooth parrot fitted. Strange it's been left there. Whenever I find a plug lying about I feel an overwhelming urge to plug it in
