Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I don't suppose any of you fellas have the SIR Tools wheel bearing tool that a fellow Renlister could borrow? I am north of Chicago just in case there is one locally. Looking for a match here. I have brown eyes, enjoy long walks on the beach and have an addiction to Porsche's. Please PM.

POST 2Original post

Most of us with Porsche specialty tools are very careful about loaning them out. I tried a similar idea awhile back and was quickly trashed for it. I have entertained the idea of loaning mine with a deposit just in case the fellow Rennlister "forgets" to return them but I dont know if anyone else would. Its better if you can find some fellow DIY'ers close to you that can help you out. There are also some alternantives to SIR. The bright side is, if you decide to buy them, a DIY'er can never have too many tools and most will last a very long time.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
