Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

12,000 miles per year through Porsche credit... I hate to give it up, but I'm in the energy trading business and business sucks !

POST 7Original post

I'm interested, but how does it work? Can I just buy the car off you w/o leasing it?

You have to buy it from the leasing company first and pay sales tax. Then the buyer has to do the same (depending on their state's laws). Suggestion is to look for a dealer that will work this as a trade in and therefore you can avoid the sales tax expense. Greg

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I spoke with my salesman and as it turns out, Porsche leases are not assumable. Although he did work out a deal where they will buy the car for the payoff amount (70,905.49) and sell it for me if I can find a buyer.. They will not mark the car up, and it actually leases better than when I bought it (b/c lux tax already paid). 48 months at 954 per month including tax(if anyones interested ?) Through Porsche Financing

Have you tried http://swapalease.com/ That is a possibility for you.
