Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

...has anyone got this on their 996 or driven a 996 with it fitted? If so, what do you think? What exactly does Porsche do apart from fitting shorter springs?

POST 3Original post

Also appears to have either uprated sway bars or strut braces - is that right? Is the ride uncomfortably stiff on 18" rims?

The 996 does not need a brace as the towers are joined by a firewall and two braces are installed at the factory. [quote]Is the ride uncomfortably stiff on 18" rims?

Not to me, it wouldn't be. But, some may find it uncomfortable.
