I like to know for those who own 02 models do you feel the same stutter that's apparent on the TT? And is it a bit annoying? I know someday I'll gravitate towards either a C4S(first choice would be a C2S if they ever make one-love 2WD) or TT so I wanted to hear from you guys who have one. Regards. Mike
I assume you are looking for responses from all 2002 models, not just TT's. Been playing with my car relatively aggressively lately. Have not driven a 2002 TT, so I don't know if this response is what you are looking for. The only stutter I've noticed in the C4S is at approximately 3000-32000 rpm on slow acceleration, as in following slow traffic. Anthing more, as in accelerating to move on to the next gear, I don't feel any stutter at all. Also had it rev up to 7000 under heavy as well as light accelration just to see if I can sense the shift, and it seemed smooth all the way. Maybe I'm just numb with glee, but that should become obvious if all the other owners start reporting all kinds of stuttering.
I had a '99 C2 and now have a '02 C2 that I got in Oct. and I have noticed a little "stutter" when acellerating at the lower rpms in 2nd and 3rd gear, that I didn't experience with the '99. Nothing really annoying and worth it for the extra torque which is really noticeable vs. the earlier model.
Yes, I have it on my '02 C2 about 2800-3000rpm when under light acceleration. -Ray G
Me too, around 3200 rpms. Feel it both ways, going up through 3200 and coming back down thorugh 3200. Gotta be variocam.
