Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am wondering if anyone knows a link that shows detailed instructions of how to install the shifter handbrake. I am wondering since I am not the most mechanically inclined person if this is something I should tackle. Thanks in advance. <img src="graemlins/a_smil17.gif" border="0" alt="[blabla]" />

POST 2Original post

Ask your service advisor at the dealership that you bought it. If they won't give you a copy tell the parts department you need the info before you order the upgrade. Also the B&M short shifter instructions gets past the hardest part, getting the console off, after that every thing is visable. FDR

POST 3Original post

I am also looking for information on the installation of the handbrake lever. Can it be installed from the inside or does it require adjustment from underneath the car?

POST 4Original post

Easy. Very Easy. I think I might have a link at home and will check this evening. I did mine the first time in about 30 minutes. All you need to do is take the center console out and remove the 3 bolts holding the assembly done. MOst of the time you will spend on this upgrade is removing the center console
