Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you can live with the color, take it.....your getting a good customer loyalty discount....as to the lumbar question, I have it in my '00 Millennium C4....it is nice, but not on my " must have " list and I did not order it on the '02 C2 due in May

POST 3Original post

LOL- the waiting list is @a year in Italy..... I ordered mine last April!!! and it's coming in this week. I guess Porsche must ship all the cars to the US to sit on dealers lots instead of selling them here.... Just kidding. My car has the lumbar support, but I won't be able to comment on it until I've driven it a bit. I think a 4-5% discount is pretty good and they are treating you well.

POST 4Original post

I agree. If you can live with the color, take it. On the other hand, if you wait a year and the car is still not sold (unlikely), you can then probably get it for even less. Here where I am, there have been no new past year 911's by the time the new models were available. They reportedly have no further allotments for the C4S, and would have to do dealer trades if I wanted another one.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

one day after i put down my deposit the dealer recieved a backup order at full price!! i think it is correct that that i am being offered a good deal as a loyal repeat customer. i like the color. since my last 2 cars were silver i wanted either white or blue. i also love guards red but i don't want to attract every speed cop in the tri state area unnecessarily! i'm just tired of silver particularly since it has become the most prevalent color in every german marque. btw, i'm trading in a merc c32- a nice car that can't hold a candle to any 911 in the twisties! i can't wait to become a porsche owner again! thank god for children who can now drive themselves!

Great car, great price. Can't beat it. Congratulations. Now, what can one do with the $3000? Hmmmmmm.... Fabspeed? Shifters? Endless choices!!! What's one to do??

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i'm more likely to spend the $ 3000 on a 10 day vacation in some nice golf resorts(within driving diatance) this spring!
