Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am thinking about switching from my current CLK 430 01 to a Porsche, but not sure if I can afford it. Can anyone provide me with an approximate price of the C4S with a reasonable options list (sunroof, leather seats, 18 rims and a good sterio system). Also any info on lease numbers will be appreciated! Thank you, Robert

POST 2Original post

rob, goto www.porsche.com and there is a section where you can build you own car but i think 85k is the number.

POST 3Original post

Robert, Stay on the rennlist site for a better idea of C4S pricing. There are pricing/options guides on the rennlist site. Go to the menu and click on "rennlist sites" and on the sub-menu click on "'02 price guides". The porsche.com build site is quite inferior and inaccurate as well. Steve

First of all, do some basic reading and get a catalogue from your or any Porsche dealer. C4S comes with full leather, 18" wheels, Hi Fi stereo. I'm 99.9% sure sunroof is standard since there is a sunroof delete option. It does not come with Bose. MSRP is $80,200. I heard the Bose: not worth the money IMHO. I don't think it sounds very good or excellent. Maybe good.

I got a quote on a lease with $2500 inception, etc and $1300/mos for 36 months, 12k mi/year. I haven't really tried to research this in detail and beat people up over it. I'm pretty sure I'm going for the C4S but there's one other wild card I'm considering.

I had a C4S on order but the stock market hasn't rebounded as much as I would like so I plan to cancel the order and have some fun with my current '99 996. The car priced out at $86K and change. The one thing I didn't have selected was the navigation computer which would have added several thousand $s.
