I have just order a pair of GT3 seats for my 00' C4 and was wondering what I will need to hook up a 5 point harness or a 6 point harness. I'm having trouble figuring out what the difference is in a harness guide bar and a harness bar. If you cant hook up to the guide bar what is it for? How would you set this up? Any links to suppliers would be great! Thanks.. JD 00 C4' <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

JD, You may have already figured this out but a guide bar just keeps the shoulder belts properly positioned. Generally they continue on and attach to a rear seat belt coupler. A harness bar is stronger and the shoulder belts attach directly too it. The two harness bars that I am aware of come from Speedware (www.speedwaremotorsports.com) and Brey-Krause (many suppliers). Brey-Krause products are generally very well made so I'm guessing their harness bar is top notch. I had a Speedware bar and it was well built and worked perfectly although part of it's bracing limited seat travel. Hope this helps. Jim
