I read in a publication that the 4S has the suspension and brakes from the turbo, but don't know exactly what that means when compared to the brakes and suspension on the 2S. Can someone tell me and is that something that can actually be appreciated in street driving?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

First of all, there is no such a thing as a 996 2S. Larger rotors and calipers all around = more stopping power and less fade. Suspension is much firmer and has beefier swaybars on the TT and 4S...for some it is an acquired taste as you feel every single bump and crack on the surface. But it will provide crisper turn in and less roll in corners. Can you really appreciate it in street driving at legal speeds? Probably not as the car doesn't approach even 3/10ths of its potential under those conditions and a regular 996 is already overkill in everyday situations.
Thanks Phil for the explanation. Probably poor wording on my part but I was contemplating going to a 997 S and had been told the "turbo" brakes and suspension on the 4 were something I should keep in mind. (I am not trying to restart the debate on S vs 4S and understand each has its benefits and supporters.)
I thought the 997.1S has 996 turbo brakes or very similar size 330 mm brakes.
