Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Like the title states I am looking to buy a reasonably priced 996 in CA. Must be hardtop and 6 speed. Exterior color preferably anything but green or burgundy. Send me a PM if you know of anything. Thanks

POST 6Original post

I'd have done a higher mile MK1 for $15k (got close at $16ish a couple of times), but by the time you find one w/18 inch wheels, not completely beat on, with the 3 spoke steering wheel and litronics headlights they fetch a bit more money. I also think miles are nicer to MK2 cars. So over all, an MK2 needing an engine would be the holy grail to me, still looking...
