Hey all, It seems like there is something in the way, If you look at an installed one, you can see that the thing in the far left is pushed further in. I looked at mine, and it doesn't look like it can be relocated. Has anyone experienced this? The installation manual doesn't say anything about relocating this, however the installation manual is a 996/997 with a 997 in the manual. Mine: zDi2E.jpg Thanks!
Your filter should have come with a special bracket which allows you to move the air pump back an inch or so. Mine works great. Hope this helps.
Damn, I didn't get any bracket as I purchased it second hand, any idea where i can get such a bracket?
the 997 evoms box fix the both997/996 but doesn't include the bracket to move the airpump over a bit to the left that need on the 996 - call evoms and they'll sell you one. When you install it make sure the wire to the airbox is pushed in all the way till it clicks-it's hard to see this wire once air box is back in place- mine was not pushed in all way & few weeks after intall got cel light on dash- finally figured out it was this wire- hope this helps
