Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As I was watching part of the Indy 500 today, I couldn't help but notice the Porsche irony on the racetrack tower...IMS. Who knew that this abreviation had dual meanings. Sorry to bring it up.The finish was very interesting.

POST 2Original post

Someone ran over my cable junction box out in the alley and I have no TV so I missed it.

POST 3Original post

Yes, Tacuma Sato made a small error on the final lap and missed being the first Japanese to win Indy 500

POST 5Original post

Great race. A lot of passes for the lead, not too much carnage. Great finish. Too bad the Lotus cars weren't competitive. Btw, bad move by Sato.

POST 6Original post

I was there today. Hotter than hell. Thanks to alot of water and heinekn I made it thru. I sat in the short chute between turns 1 and 2. All accidents happened there today. Felt bad for Sato.......he tried too early on the last lap. They have a big IMS sign on the pagoda. Normal human beings think it stands for Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Could have sworn I saw Mr. Raby hanging from the sign......

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That was my point Pete. Must have been special to be there in person.

Steve.......it was very special. Big track smack dab in the middle of a city. Finally talked the wife into going after living here for 6 years. People turn their yards into parking lots, Jim Nabors singing "Back home in Indiana" (even though he did it remote from HI this year), alot of memorials to Dan Wheldon on track and off, even more for the folks in uniform and the occasional exposed body part. It was a very special day. That was the good. The only bad vision I had was when we were on our way to the track, caught in traffic at a stand still, the SUV behind us packed with people had a woman squirming in the front seat. My wife and both realized at the same time the woman had to pee. We were glued to the mirrors watching the spectacle that was about happen. Well......the woman disappeared under the dash and seconds later a full glass of you know what was tossed out the window. I'm glad I was in front of them and not behind. With 300,000 people you are bound to see some crazy stuff.
