Are the factory aluminum look interior parts made of real aluminum or just painted silver? Had anyone try those stick on aluminun kit?

console (upper and lower) are painted. handbrake handle tab is real alum as is the trim at the bottom of shifter boot (must have for 6spd).

The horseshoe trim at the bottom of the shifter boot is painted plastic also. You'd think aluminum for the price we pay for it . . .

Stickon Alum stuff = dogsh_t!!!! Be careful when you buy the factory Alumilook....there's more than one color....I learned the hard way. There's Artic Silver, and GT3 Silver (also called Sports Silver). Some of the bozos in various Parts Depts don't know that. To further frustrate you, some of the parts aren't available in Sports Silver (which is a brighter color than Artic).....that's where our good buddy Eric @bumperplugs.com comes in.....I've tried several after mkt vendors for this stuff, and his is the ONLY good match. By the way....Sports S matches the latch on my glove box, interior handles on my doors, silver color on CF handshift & handbrake....I got the rear console in sport s (factory), and Eric is doing the upper console, ignition & hazard rosettes.....the door kit (hoop pulls & maplid covers) is available from factory. Keep spending!!!!
