Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello 996'ers. I am coming form a 997 Carrera S which was totaled in an accident. Thankfully, I was not injured. I have full coverage and shopped around for a new to me week-ender. My other car is a 1995 turbo'd BMW 540i/6 at 700 rwhp. My Porsche shop, S-Car-Go in San Rafael, Ca., had a mint 29k miles 996 TT manual for sale. It has over $75k in mods, starting with Evolution Motorsports GT 750 kit, 6 piston Brembos, Bilstein coilers, larger sway bars, Recaro later/alcantera sport seats, and other mods I can't think of at the moment. It drives like a bat out of hell. I could have gotten back into a more "modern" 911, but this Metzger engine bullet train kept calling me. I will takes pic's soon, when I figure out how to download from my iPhone. The color of my TT is arctic silver with black interior.I love to mod my cars, and I am strictly not a "stock" kind of person, even though re-sale value goes to stock cars. I have cars that reflect my tasts, and not what the market likes.
