Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is there a service life to the rubber flaps on the stock oil baffle? Car currently has 80k miles on it and I'm pretty sure the pan has never been pulled from the car. The rubber flaps seem okay, none of the clips broken off and they move freely

POST 3Original post

The baffle has been superseded by Porsche. Make sure you have the latest version before you put it all back together.

Wont the 997 one fit?

ECS Tuning also carries the X51 pan which is a nice upgrade.

Already purchased another stock pan. Not doing anything crazy with the car anymore (track days, autox). I figure stock will be fine for spirited street driving.
