Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What are the off-sets?
edited the sizes, Carrera sport wheels from a Cayman.
8.5 235 / 35 10 285 / 30 just go to site like tire rack and see the tire meant for the car. You dont guess at tire sizes, you go by the tire that fits on the wheel. If its not meant for that size wheel, it doesnt matter what car its on.
I would not do a 285 on a 10 wide, it's going to give you a ballooned look and give you less performance. I think a 275/30 would be the right size for you on the rear. That way it will be square with the wheel. I have similar fitment but with 11" rears and 8mm out farther so you shouldn't have any issues with rubbing.
I am also thinking towards 235/35/19 and 275/30/19
although there is 285/30/19 on J10 (rears) on this BMW, looks good
You can go to 1010tires.com and they have a calculator for size swaps. I had 19's in my '04 C4S for a couple of months and went back to the stock 18's. The ride was just too harsh.
