Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Spoiler remained in up position after engine cooled down??? Temperature never exceeded 180 degrees. What would cause it to remain in the up position? Clark

POST 3Original post

Cooling of the engine has nothing to do with the spoiler being up. It activated at a speed of 75 +- mph and retracts at about 30 mph. Maybe a relay or limit switch problem.

POST 4Original post

Also try the switch on the fuse panel to lower it

Zackly. Try pushing the button on the lower panel near the fuse box. A couple times over the past few years my spoiler has stayed up for some inexplicable reason. Push the button and all is good.
