18x8 (225/40-18) up front and 18x10 (285-30-18) in the rear. I'm looking for what Porsche recommends for a 996 C2. Are these #'s accurate? http://www.drivegreen.com/PressureValue/Porsche.shtml

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

36 psi for the front and 44psi in the rear. Chad
For those of you that run this pressure and have the wheel size and tire size I listed above... do you wear out the center section of your rear tires faster than the inside or outside edge?
No.
If you run less pressure, you will wear out the inside and possibly outside edges of the tires. Kris
With the specifed camber settings on the rear tires, it would almost be impossibe to wear the center of the outside of the tires. Your inside half will always wear to the cord before safe tread is gone on the rest of the tire, regardless of pressure. The amount of air in the tires does not effect the camber.
AHHHHH that explains why there seems to be more tread when it's on the ground!
