I need to refresh my suspension bushings, tie rod ends, pickle forks, etc to get rid of that annoying low speed rattle/clunk, but my car has M030 factory option if i replace suspension parts, would i be inadvertently swapping OUT my M030? Are there different part numbers for M030? bushings? What makes M030 so special? i've seen where it costs over a grand to upgrade from standard to M030, so what are the differences? Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The M030 parts are the shocks/struts, springs and sway bars. Everything else is the same as every other 996. When you do the sway bar links there are 2 parts. So you will pick the one for the M030. All the rest of the bushings and arms are the same. I did all that to mine this summer and finally got rid of all the front end clunking. Now I want to swap out the strut mounts, bump stops and dust shields. Just debating whether or not to do struts at the same time. Car has 90K on it, but still rides very well. So there may be a few miles left in the shocks....but not many.
got it thanks for the reply
The compensator plates and rear shock bump stops are different for 030 suspension.
