Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have any experience, or recommendations for a mail order type tune from a vender for a 2000 996 with muffler bypass pipes installed? The mid-range is obviously lacking with them on the car. Thanks!!!!

POST 2Original post

Curious what you come up with. I did the muffler delete about a month ago and it's ok, but there's quite a bit of drone in the 2000-2400 rpm range which is annoying, especially with the windows down.

Were you the guy that added silencers to the bypass pipes?

POST 4Original post

No, I just have the bypass pipes right now from Beluga Racing.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Mine sound pretty good, and would sound great, and much better in the mid-range area if the tune was a little richer. I just bought the eBay ones.. $179.00 I think
