Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Yep, I used it for swapping my variocam pads and retiming. Worked well. I wrote kind of a summary somewhere but I wasn't able to quickly find it. Maybe search my post history?

Yes, me too! I'm not sure if "FA" was the one who noticed that the timing tool with the two red ***** was put together *backwards, but the one in my kit was as well - other than that, it worked perfectly. ** The end that goes into the cam slot is attached by two screws. The screws need to be removed and the piece flipped around or it won't fit...I'm not sure if they're all like this, but mine was...

I too, purchased, and used this kit. For timing, as others have mentioned, no problem. However, I came to find out, the tube that holds the wrist pin clip was not within specifications. The outer circumference was too large, and therefore, the end of the tube would not "seat" perfectly in the groove (land?). This was only realized after a local indy tech visited my home to do the bank 4-6 piston installation, and we compared his Baum-made tool with this cheap set.
