I have 99 C2 with the aero kit. The front bumper cover was resprayed when I bought it but it is missing the location. The seller and I know him said it was only resprayed by him and not replaced. I had the paint metered no accidents, it may be an aftermarket bumper but it matches every other aero kit I have seen online and the fit and finish is perfect. Are there aftermarket covers this good without the hook location. I want to find the precise spot and drill a hole as the only other I know of is behind the rear license plate? Thoughts

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Too many variables to not remove bumper cover and locate threads in bumper.
First get a tow hook bumper plug (given the cost you might reconsider...unless tow hook is needed for DE events) https://www.bumperplugs.com/index.ph...product_id=160
