Attended the NAIAS yesterday, thought I would pass along a few pictures. First off from Nissan, they are clearly not going for the 996 demographic... Also, I do love the proportions of the new Supra, just wish they gave it more hp (335hp) for $55K...

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Now that is funny!
Wow, I'm not sure what to say about the Nissan. (I hear whispers of, "if you can't say anything nice...") The Supra looks really nice...kind of reminiscent of a Toyota/Scion/Subaru 86/FRS/BRZ.
They had 20 years to design a new Supra, and all they could up with was a BMW Z4 with some extra vents and less horsepower?
Im very anxious to see how the market responds to the Supra. It looks pretty good, in my opinion, even if it does look like a beefed up FR-S. Although, I think its more fair to think of it in the reverse: the FR-S as a baby Supra, even though the Supra is younger. But I digress. I see and hear a lot of negativity from enthusiasts about this new Supra and I agree with a lot of it. It definitely took them way too long to release it, especially to be identical on the interior to the Z4. But it does look like its probably a pretty nice car and most people wouldnt have any clue about the shared interior, so I could see it being a sales success. I wonder, though, now that the Mustang and Camaro are both actually decent cars (I say that as a long time fan of both cars, but lets be honest...) with way more power for less money, how the Supra will compete in this market. I wonder if the Supra moniker will be worth $10k+ and 100+ less horsepower to enough people (that are in the market for a $50k+ car) to be a success. My prediction is that it will be flop in the new car market, but do well in the used car market a decade after it stops being produced. Then it would have more in common with its lineage! *slaps knee*

Precisely. I think this car needs closer to 400hp to have a chance at a truly great sports car.
