Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We have a total of 4 seats remaining for the 2018 Hands- On Engine Rebuild School, with Jake Raby & Tony Callas. This class is being held at The Knowledge Gruppe Training Facility, located 1 hour from the Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport (Georgia). Registration for this class will be closing on March 28. Feel free to post your questions to [email removed] , or send a message through the website. In the online class "M96 101", attendees are familiarized with the technical specifics of the M96/97 engine, and are prepared for the Hands- on learning experience they'll have as they build an M97/ M97 engine from scratch during the "102" class. Please see the flier, and below links for details, and inclusions. Click here for details about the M96/M97 "101" online class Click here for details about the M96/M97 "102" Hands- On Class

POST 2Original post

Hello! Is it possible to take 101 this year and 102 in future year? How useful is 101 on its own for an enthusiast with just home garage DIY background?

Yes, a lot of people will attend the "101" now, and do hands- on another year. That said, the future of the Hans- on classes are not certain from year to year. Mr. Raby did not intend to bring back the hands- on class this year, but decided to based on requests. We can't guarantee that there will be any more hands- on classes. The "101" class is a well- balanced class that does help understand how the engine's systems work, and the topics of servicing, and etc are gone over. This makes it good for someone, even if they never plan on hands- on attendance.

Thank you! Will definitely try to work my schedule for this class then

POST 5Original post

How many class attendees are also Rennlist members, so far? I'm going to be there!

We usually have 2-3 Rennlisters per class...

POST 7Original post

Still hoping to attend the Hi-Perf class in June.

POST 8Original post

Definitely an interesting and educating experience. Not completely sure I'd try to tackle a rebuild job all on my own even after taking it...but if mine blew up, I certainly would not have a problem taking it apart and understanding what I'm seeing and deciding a rational course from there, I think..
