Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know the name for the plastic bracket that the two large electrical connectors are mounted to in the passenger side of the engine compartment. Mine has busted mounting points, and I want to replace it while the engine is out. I've tried googling and am coming up empty since I don't have good terms - the part number (996.101.01) doesn't get good google results. It looks like a $10 part (although it is probably $50 new with the Porsche tax). There must be salvage cars all over the place that have these brackets in them, if only I can identify the part.

POST 2Original post

I have one I just pulled out of my car. PM me an offer and I can ship it to you this week.

POST 3Original post

You are referring to this one? I looked it up in and the part number is 99761013100. ECStuning.com has it $11.44.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, that is it! It must have been a superceeded part number. I just googled that part number you listed and apparently it is called "Wiring harness support engine connection point". Mystery solved. Thank you!
