http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv...095249206.html Guy seems very shady. I dropped him a few emails, he did respond, but wont give me his phone # to Call. He finally calls me and we agree to meet in the afternoon, but never calls back to give me a address. I drop him another email saying "im a serious buyer with cash on hand. If Car passes PPI, we can wrap up in less than 24 hours" He never responds. its been about 5 days. He originally had the car posted for $25.9 then relisted for $27.5 - Not sure what up with this guy.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

He upped the price for the uber rare Boise radio.
Well it isn't ebay and if thats what happened he finds out he can get the price asked so raises the price seeing if he can get that one also. He'll take you for as much money as he can evidently.
I think $27.5 is a Fair Price, I'm just pissed the guy keeps flaking on me or doesn't want to meet up! you would think, if you're selling a Car and get a email saying Im a Cash Buyer and I want to see the Car, you would call the buyer back.

And the even rarer xeon lights.
No guys, the price is upper because its a rare "cabrolete" 6 speed.
naw - its the FULL LEATER INT AND DASH that is really rare
"See it, you will buy it"...how can you buy it if you can't see it? He probably complains to his buddies that he can't sell his Porsche, wonder why?
Maybe his wife made him place the ad and he doesn't want to sell.
PLENTY of other cars out there. Let this one go and save yourself some obvious headaches. Kurt

+1 I'd stop contacting this guy. He has your number if he really wants to sell it. Just let it ride and see if he comes to his senses. Phil
CL can be scary.... Specially with cash in hand.
When I was looking for a C4, a local BMW dealer did the same thing. Posted a price, then retracted the ad and reposted same vehicle for several k$ higher. They denied it. At least this guy said after realizing that there's interest "I posted the wrong price", as if there was a wrong and right price...
I'm helping my brother buy a 996. At first he wanted a C4S, but now he narrowed it down to a 02-04 Cab. Ideally he wants it triple black.
nice choice
