Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I removed a GT2 wing from my C4S to take it back to stock. The wing rubbed on a couple points on the rear deck lid. Is it best to remove the entire lid and take it in to get painted or can they paint it on the car? Is there any other easy paint fix? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

They can paint it... I had mine done and I think it was about $200.

POST 3Original post

its 4 screws to remove the lid... no overspray

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Are the deck lid shocks easy to remove?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Shocks are easy to remove. But why is it always one &^$#ing nut that's impossible to get off?! I might be taking the whole car in.

POST 6Original post

Dmw, Is the wing for sale? The photo looks great with it on. PM me with price, etc. Andy T
