Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have been searching but can not find a 996 commercial from around 02. It had the 996 model line up, cab, targa, and coupe (may also have had a turbo) driving in a line on a twisty road passing a note from open top through targa then onto the coupe through the sunroof. Anyone remember or better yet know were I can find it?

POST 2Original post

I remember it, but it doesn't seem to me as if it was quite that long ago. And I think it was a piece of paper that flew up from the roadway into the first car, then out of the first car, then into the second car, and out of the second car, then the coupe driver snags it reaching out of his driver window and the voice over is something about littering???

Thats it...if only I could find it.

Wasn't it a "highway cleanup" with Porsche. Like those signs that says "Adopt-A-Highway...This stretch sponsored by Porsche"??? I remember the video but woldn't know where to find it. Does the PCNA website have video archives? I made sure to save my favorite commercial when I saw it. It's the one with the introduction of the 997 911 with the little boy that gets the business card from the salesman and tells him he will be back in about 20 years then the music kicks back in and says......"It's a funny thing about a Porsche. There's the moment you know you want one. There the moment you first own one. And for the truly afflicted, there's the decade or two that passes in-between.........." Post back if you find it as I would save that one as well. Damn, that commercial I just explained gives me chills down my spine. Make me want to go drive. Too bad there's f'in ice on the road. I thought I lived in the south?

Journey of a thousand clicks. How about this current Euro-only commercial, the chick flashes the P-car. Then watch how the car responds, ha! http://break.com/index/hot_chick_flashes_car.html

IIRC, one of the guys here on Rennlist made that commercial.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
