Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Guys! I sold the car to guy in Chicago. He drove a rental down to Indy with his 8 year old son. This guy was grinning from ear to ear when he left me. One of the few sales that really made me feel good! The exhaust was a single inlet dual outlet Danske. Sounded awesome. I always dreamed of owning that car....black, front and rear spoilers........it was a beut! Like the saying goes..you don't know what you have until its gone..

POST 10Original post

POST 16Original post

day-am !thats nice fty ! so you guys that have had the classic know them and I get that you are happy with the 996 (or newer) but for those who have not, (like me) its like a right of passage.... something required in the Porsche ownership series. This is why I am where I am at. I need this, want it, love it - and if things work out I will have a long hood someday too. for now I am happy and for those who have not owned a classic (err... at least older than say 90') 911, ya owe it to yourself to spend some time there. I drove about 150-200 miles yesterday and spend ALL day (7am to 6:30pm) at the track. I really cant think of a better way to get to know your car (any car)
