Hi guys, kind of a basic question. Can you put the top up when you have the wind screen on? Don't want to try it if it will cause any damage. Thanks Zenski

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

No problem. Kind of blocks your view a bit, but it's tolerable. I tend to just reach back and fold it flat.
Thanks, just wanted to know in case I get stuck in the rain and have to put it up quickly.
Yep, did it today when I was in a neighborhood that I was a little unfamiliar with.
Funny i forgot my screen was on after rolling through the green mountains in Vermont.. all of a sudden got some rain so i stopped and without thinking put the top up... No problem at all and at least a few inches of clearance at the top... as another member mentioned it blocks the rear view a bit but is tolerable...
No problem as others have said, in fact I do that sometimes since i can't tint the clear plastic rear window so the mesh screen of the wind deflector acts somewhat like tint to reduce the light coming through the rear window. Porsche engineers thought of that, go figure!!
No problem. You can leave it in the up position, but I flip it down to get a clear view out of the rear window.
So the wind deflector can be left in position top up or down? Thats good to know as I have one being delivered for $288 this Monday from Suncoast. Although it can be layed half down, I like the idea of Aviosgraphy's leaving it up at night time to reduce the glare through the plastic rear window of the soft top. Sometimes even the mirror adjuster tab on the rear view mirror isn't quite enough for my liking when an idiot behind has his full beams on.
