Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, I know that on my 2004 996 there is no need for a front strut brace since the car already has them built in, but how about the rear struts. Trying to get a plan together to seriously tighten up the upper speed steering on my daily driver. Already got PSS10s and the Eibach Sway bar kit on order. Curious if anyone has done these and the Strut brace?

POST 2Original post

Tommy, you should probably know that at least the Evoms one requires you to take off or modify the carpet that covers the area between the struts. I wasn't willing to do that so mine is sitting in the garage if you're interested. David

POST 3Original post

Wait until you have your PSS10 and sway bars in. I think you will find that you do not need the strut bar. These coupes are really stiff.
