I am about to order some 19" Techart Formula wheels for my 99 996 (factory 18's are on it now). Any particular technical reason why I should not use 19" wheels? And is there room for slightly wider tires? Thanks, Steve

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There very heavy rims, the front are 28 pounds and the back are 32.
Rougher ride. More squeaks and rattles. More stress on your suspension. Heavier wheels. Unknown affect on handling. Don't look good in my opinion.
have 19 OZ wheels on my ride and there is not a noticable change in the way she rides... they look much better. as well. if you like them go for it
