Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I don't want to start anything controversial, but why is it that MY 04 gets the 40th Anniversary designation, when the anniversary celebrates 1963-2003? Shouldn't the MY 03 have been the 40th Anniversary model? Just curious.

POST 2Original post

The first 911 was introduced late 1963 at the Frankfurt auto show. The 40th Anniversary 911 was introduced late 2003 at the Frankfurt auto show. Exactly forty years later.

POST 4Original post

Dima, It's all marketing. Ask why millineum edition came out in Y2K and not 2001? Is the first year 0 or 1?

POST 5Original post

Yup. I wonder when Porsche launched the 30th, 20th, and 10th anniversary models?
