Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I'm re-doing the leather on an e-brake. I need to remove the handle in order to tuck in the new leather. Any ideas on how to get the handle off?

POST 2Original post

Wow props to doing this yourself. So based on your photo I see you've done the hardest part which is removng the whole piece. I didn't recover mine myself - I had Don Le at Dallas Custom Steering wheels do it - I'm sure he'd answer your call or email. I know he's done work for other rennlisters too.

Thanks for the contact info. Don was nice enough to speak with me but did not know how to get the handle off. Apparently he did not take yours off... he just tucked the leather into the crevice.
