Hi all, I'm visiting from the 944 board. I recently picked up a set of sport design wheels, 18x8 and 18x10. I don't need the wheels so they're for sale, but I have no idea about a reasonable price. I didn't find much via the search function other than a 996 owner looking for some. What I'm looking for is a ballpark price that sounds fair. I only found one recent ebay transaction for some at around $750. Is that about right in your collective experience? Is there another board more suited to these wheels? Thanks in advance! jp EDITED w/ correct wheel name

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

are both of yours in PERFECT condition? will they fit a 2000 c2? send pics to [email removed]
sent you an email
You have mail. If anyone's interested, the wheels are perfect as far as I've seen. I can send pics to anyone interested. I don't have centercaps, but I do have new tires mounted on them that I can include or exclude. The tires are Kumho ASX All Season tires in 275/40/18 and 245/40/18. So $750-1000 is the right ballpark for these wheels?
I am looking for some new rims 18" for my 99 C2 also. If anyone is still selling there sport classic or sport design, please email me a photo of them to [email removed] Thanks.
Don't have any better pictures right now because my garage is a little cramped to snap some better ones. They're a little dusty, but all 4 have zero marks or curb rash.
What kind of wheels are those? They don't look like the Sport Classics I know for the 996.
Sorry, my mistake. I just checked again and they're 'Sport Design' one piece wheels. Sorry for the mixup.
those don't look like OEM porsche wheels.
Good eye, Moog. I finally pulled one from this car, and it turns out they're BSA Performance Control wheels. 40mm offset. If anyone is interested in them, let me know. Otherwise I may just keep them.
The lip tells all ....
Those are sport design one piece replicas..... THEY ARE NOT PORSCHE NOR ARE THEY OEM Parts.... Good Luck with your sale.... -Eli
Now these are Porsche Sport Designs..... -Eli
Thanks for the info. They are no longer for sale.
Eli at P...where did you find those wheels in black? I have an arena red MY99 996 and would love a pair custom painted to match my exterior. Any info?
I had these rims done by a buddy of mine. They are powder coated with a polished lip and polished hardware. They have zero miles since the job.. with my car in the shop I didn't want to take a change..... "Anything is for sale if the price is right"...... -Eli
