Hey I need one of you to look at a switch on your 99 996 for me if you don't mind. I need to know the proper connections for 2 vacuum lines. The switch is the changeover valve that is located right above the alternator and has an electrical connection and 2 nipples (not the fun kind) The nipples are at 90 degrees to each other. Connected to the nipples is 1 very thin vacuum line that goes to the resonance flap in the back crossover tube to the intake and the 2nd small vacuum lines goes to a vacuum source from the back of the intake. I removed these lines and am not sure which connects to which nipple on the changeover valve. Thanks for your help.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
