Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do they exist? I have been looking for weeks. Tons of Black and even more Silver all over for sale. Is there a place that lists the numbers built with the different color combinations and years?

POST 2Original post

They do exist, just not quite as common as black or silver. Porsche does not give out any detail numbers after 2000, the only numbers for MY00-01 total 911's (all types) are: 22,950 MY00 27,325 MY01 There are a lot of places you can look, and it will take some patience to find the right car (many have spent over 6 months looking). You will probably find more in Guards Red with Black than Arena Red with Black. If the C4 is not a mandatory requirement, or you are open to a coupe or cab, the search will open up more. Good Luck!

Well, I know Guards Red/Black C2s exist(see my avatar), but I do not recall seeing the same combo in a C4. Good luck with your search.

Here's one: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=&cardist=1402

POST 5Original post

It took us awhile to find a guards red/black interior C4S. The "safer" colors are of course much readily available to find.

Hmm it says C4 in the title but then shows 2 wheel drive in the specs. I will give him a call. My requirements are tight but I figure if I am going to put a lot of time and money into a project, it needs to be just right I forgot to mention it needs to be a manual transmission as well. I could live with black but that gaurds red looks really nice. Thanks for pointing out they DO exist.

POST 7Original post

I found a some Guards Red C4's & C2's when I was looking a few months ago for an 00-01, They are out there. I'm a big fan of the Red, I only ended up with a silver car because it was an 02 at the right price. I will keep my eye out for you.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks! I would love a 2002 or 2003 but funds are limited and there is a price jump from 2001 to 2002 for the 3.6L. I could stretch it but I want to spend some money on an Aero kit.

POST 9Original post

aerokit is critical. i'd rather have an MK1 with aerokit than a non-aerokitted mk2 honestly. like the one in this thread: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/s...d.php?t=121882 Amazing!

POST 10Original post

I got one! grabbed it up as soon as I seen it. Haven't seen any others.
