Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

59 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Welcome to Rennlist. About those wheels..... FAIL! Well, you asked!

POST 13Original post

Are those Volks? Volks are cool but I'd repaint them a different color for your car.

POST 14Original post

I may be interested in your wheels if they will fit an '01 C4

Yikes! Those wheels will be attention-getters for sure. But not in a good way. Great looking car, though.

POST 18Original post

Currently enjoying a well deserved mid-life crisis. Please note the red convertible sports car, new "hip" wardrobe, and yes, my hair is a tad too long in the back (what's left of it). Welcome! Enjoyed the fun intro!

POST 23Original post

Subzero, I'm a new member of the PCA in my area and discovered that most members didn't seem to want to discuss what they do. So, I guess I'm not really surprised by the responses in this thread. But, I will give you a serious answer: I'm 48 and run a business incubator in Chapel Hill, NC a couple of miles from UNC. My brother is a 993 owner, is 35 and is an interventional radiologist in Portland, OR. My dad is a 996 owner and is a retired professor who lives in Greenville, NC. The wheels look like they came off an sti. IMO, you have the best looking wheels made for the 996. I'm just waiting until I can afford some for myself!

POST 24Original post

It's not that we don't want to discuss what we do... In PCA we have everything from corporate CEOs to starving college students bravely keeping an old 944 on the road. The great thing about this hobby/illness is that people of such disparate backgrounds and experiences can come together and enjoy each other's company without checkbooks and other distractors getting in the way. I'm happy to share what I do. It just is not particularly relevant to the conversation over Saturday morning coffee with my PCA friends.

POST 25Original post

Quotes source post: 9261272

When I joined the PCA (10 years ago this next month!) I was very surprised by the diversity and economic variety among P-car owners. As most people on this planet assume, I thought it would just be old rich guys playing with their toys. But in reality it is very much representative of the population of the local region. A little bit of everything. But it's funny that no one really does talk about or ask what we all do. Maybe after a long conversation it may come up but generally not. I don't know if it's intentional or maybe irrelevant but it seems to be the common practice. In keeping on topic with the original question though...When not working as a **** star I manage web/interactive marketing for the payments processing division of a large Charlotte-based bank.

POST 26Original post

One thing I have seen a few times is someone joining with the idea of making business connections or gaining customers (I can think of a realtor and an investment advisor who tried this). Kinda nutty if you consider the expense involved. And this is really not appreciated and they got that message pretty quick. And what do I do? I work for the 'largest privately held software company in the world,' conducting training around the country.

POST 27Original post

The wheels look great! What's on the WRX now?

I think that is why I like this group so much. There are many places on the net where people can go boast about their career or how much money they make. Here it doesn't matter. We all made enough to buy our dream cars I work in network security and live in central texas.

POST 29Original post

I'm 29 and a project manager at a small startup software company here in the Seattle area. We're best known for a program we sell named "Windows".

Lol, in retrospect, I see it was a dumb question to ask and unguys brought up good points. Thread wast meant to "boast" but just to get an idea of who people are behind the handles. Btw, what's PCA?

What company would this be? I am racking my brain thinking about who this could be?Probably pretty obvious, but after beers and a pile of pizza with customers I don't feel like thinking much. I myself am a District Manager for NAPA Auto Parts here in Iowa. I manage 9 stores. I think it is a great question and one that really shows the diverse pop. here on the board.I love to know what people do, there are so many interesting occupations!

I am a unique and esoteric individual, a man of style and substance. I crack blocks of ice with my forehead and paint pottery with my toes. I propel my bicycle up extreme inclines and navigate my hang-glider through urban environments. I am the CIAs only triple agent, have memorized the quadratic formula, can recite pi to 10,574 digits, and peel oranges with one hand while skiing down double black diamond runs playing frisbee with the Kennedys. I conduct seminars on combating international terrorism, and recently returned from sabbatical in Antarctica studying the effects of the Mt. Erebus volcano on the ozone layer. I dabble in the occult, can play the minute waltz in 51 seconds on 5 different instruments, and recently disproved the validity of Says Law, and Einsteins Theory of Relativity, am the defending Kumite champion, and food critic for The New York Times. I soon plan to vacation by rowing around the world while writing the definitive textbook on Constitutional Law and a biography of Ferdinand Magellan. ref: http://www.outsideonline.com/outdoor...123422714.html
