Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

So here it is, black on black, 18" wheels, C4, 6 Speed... has the optional hardtop as well.

POST 2Original post

Wow that must have been some hit! It knocked the whole dash, steering wheel and pedals into the passenger's sid.. oh, wait...Never mind. Nice! Welcome aboard

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ha ha its funny really, the things I really thought I disliked about the 996 I dont actually mind too much now I own it, like the dash cluster, and the headlights...

POST 4Original post

Congrats on the new purchase. Agree I like the earlier headlights more (I've owned both)

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks OZ. The cluster has grown on me, still would like to do a 997 front end conversion, but wont be next week, I think I c an live with it for a while!

POST 6Original post

Welcome! I like the white gauge faces, kinda wish mine had that, nice little contrast on an all black car. I think that maybe a PPI might have been a good call, the would have discovered that the steering wheel and dash was installed incorrectly (as in, on the wrong side).......lol. Enjoy, she is a looker!

POST 7Original post

Your C4 looks great, love the wheels and white guage faces. Those must be negatives, the steering wheel isn't in the correct position. Actually, I'd like to drive with a right hans configuration just to see what it's like. Thanks for the pics, it's beautiful. How far are you from Christschurch?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the kind words! I live 5 minutes walk from the central city in Christchurch... which is why I am not going to bother with suspension mods lol

POST 9Original post

That will be lots of fun in New Zealand's beautiful country side roads! A few years back I drove around several parts of the South Island (a rental car) and loved the roads down there. My car is very similar to yours, with the steering on the other side: http://www.johnmiranda.com/porsche.htm Congrats and Enjoy! John

POST 13Original post

I think its interesting that they moved everything over for right side drive except the emergency brake.

POST 14Original post

I love a black on black cab. Great looking wheels, I have the same on my C4. Enjoy it in good health!

POST 15Original post
