Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey guys, is there anyway to make a C4S sound like a GT3 RS or is that sound based more on the engine itself?

POST 2Original post

Engine and slightly different muffler set up, but mostly engine.

POST 3Original post

you can make it sound less like a Hoover and more like a sports car with the FisterD mod on your stock mufflers for under $300 http://www.fdmotorsports.net/index_files/Page732.htm

POST 5Original post

Yes. FisterD is the lowest cost. PSE new from Porsche is BIG $. Tubi from Champion Porsche(?) I think is in the middle price wise. I have the 1st option and love it. If I were ordering a new 911 it would most likley have PSE. You should find plenty of sound clips on Youtube.

POST 6Original post

I did this earlier this month (May-2011) Sounds awesome with the top down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nk5mQL78TY

POST 7Original post

I've been told the sound of a GT3RS from 6750 to 8200 rpm is quite nice. The sound of a C4S at 8200 rpm is much less attractive.

POST 8Original post

Cargrahic, headers, 200cel cats and sport mufflers....

POST 9Original post

this is prob the best PSE vid Ive heard that closely matches the sound in real life... turn up your speaker, or list with headphones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85143TXV0Ug&NR=1

POST 10Original post

evoms headers, fabspeed cat-pipes, tubdi mufflers, evoms intake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgulwryrXtE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_2Xq5qARjU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzantWDQ3QI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqDJ5Acvk98
