Theres this guy at my work that has an E39 530, hes been giving me **** for a while and had been trying to get me to drag race him forever. Well im not gonna drag my car, but i told him he could have a ride if he wanted, as he was saying he thought his 530 was quicker. Well, the other day i gave him a ride. All it took was me accelerating on to the freeway for that big smile to start creeping over his face. He was so surprised at how awesome the car drove, and how the higher into the rpm range we got the harder she pulled, after the drive he couldnt stop smiling, i think it was safe to say he changed his mind about the car lol

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Way to convert those of little faith. Until you drive or are passenger in a Porsche, you can't compare the Porsche with too many other cars for the $. Great story.
yep, id definitely say hes got a new appreciation for the brand!
Being a passenger in the Porsche really doesn't paint the necessary portrait for full belief in the dream. He needs to actually drive a 911 to realize that the 530 is a family hauling sh!tbox compared to the Pcar.
lol ya, but theres no way i was letting him drive my car.
lol @ Bobby
"He needs to actually drive a 911 to realize that the 530 is a family hauling sh!tbox compared to the Pcar" Hm! E39 530 best sport sedan during its run. Great family car. Had 2 of them '98 and '01. Can't be compared to P-car. Apples vs oranges.
take it to the twisties..... the smile will turn into poop in the pants. If he's a good friend I would do the latter.
Yeah, and then throw on the brakes til he thinks he's gonna fly through the windshield, ha.

I'm sure he would get that old fight or flight syndrone popping up in his head. Maybe even scream from an overdose of adrenilin in his system.
