Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Many thanks to Ed Harrison and his wife for arranging and hosting an outstanding event today, with enough visual and aural stimulation to last for days! A dozen P-cars, eight or so Ferraris, a couple of Lotuses (Loti?) and Maseratis gathered in the post-dawn mist before setting out for 125 miles of canyon and mountain twisties, including a few open staightaways to stretch the legs. The howls of the F-cars, mixed with the barking of the Porsches and Lotus off the canyon walls and sweeping around the Mt. Palomar swithbacks, had to be heard to be believed. Our destination was Leonesse Winery in Temecula, where we were able to ogle all the assembled hardware in daylight, sample a selection of superb estate wines, and take an informative tour of the vineyards and winery. All the the while, of course we were able to share the experience with a bunch of enthusiasts and a collection of some of the finest machinery on the road. Thanks again, Ed, I look forward to repeating this next year. For the Rennlisters who unfortunately missed this great outing, here are some photos to whet your appetites: Follow this link.

Thanks I'm glad you were able to come to it. I had a blast on those roads (as usual!) I'll be thinking of the next one. lolz, I did wear a sweatshirt in the morning if that helps.
