Can someone tell me how to program the automatic lock / unlock feature on the 2001 Cab? The book says "may be done by the dealer" but I'm sure I don't have that kind of cash... Thanks... Mark

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

To reprogram it you need a PST2, the Porsxche tool. Even my Durametric will not do this. However, with a cab you should get a Smart Top and a Remote Top, allows you to open/close the top up to 28mph, one touch open/close and open/close the top with you key. And with these you can reprogram the locks without the Porsche tool. One of the better upgrades I have done on my Cab.
can the mk1's be programmed as well?
