Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No pictures yet, but here are the specifics: 2000 911 Carrera Coupe, 6sp 39K miles Sport Classic II wheels Ocean Blue Metallic, Savannah Beige Interior DSP Audio, electric seats w/ memory. PSM Silver gauges Dunlop Sport 9000 tires Condition is pretty clean. One ding on the fender and a couple of rock chips. Some chips on the interior painted surfaces (like around the hanger hook). Dealer added heated seats, CD changer and clear side marker lights. I added one coat of Rejex so far. The car is Porsche certified and I'm certifiable after buying it. Issues so far (I'm making a list for the dealer): 1. The horn goes off on really hot days when I hit the brakes (super sensitive). So I stuffed some foam in the gap between the center cushion and the body of the steering wheel. Ok for now. 2. The sunroof button is really flakey. If I push the arrow to open it (slide it back) nothing. But if I hit the button to raise it first, then it works OK. 3. Subtle rattle in the sunroof. 4. Subtle rattle in the drivers door. What I'm about to say will either tick off everyone or they'll understand; I doubt there's a middle ground. I've always liked rear engine cars and since I'll probably never get my hands on a prinstine A110 1300S, I did this instead. There, I said it. It's a blast to drive and the list for upgrades starts like this: Three spoke sport steering wheel (where's the best place to get one?). Aluminum bezel Aluminum shift ****. Cup holders? (are there any worth pursuing?) --Dale

WOW, another Newbie!!!! Dale - Congrads and Welcome! Double WOW! Your P-car is NOT Silver, Gray, or Black!! That makes you almost unique. No first hand experience with them, but as reported by some of the guys here, Brandywine Porsche in PA reportedly has good prices on P-car stuff. You need to post pics ASAP, because... we LOVE pics! Again, Welcome!

POST 3Original post

POST 6Original post

Dale, Hope you enjoy the new ride. Here is a link to the mod I did for my cupholders. They work great and blend in very well. https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ght=cup+holder I hope this link works, if not do a search under cup holder and look for the thread 99 C2 Cupholder Mod. Kris
